Our meeting due to someone bringing a service dog at a church singles-group and both of us gravitating towards the dog, rather than people, was what set our relationship and love for animals / dogs in motion. That was over 26 years ago.
We have since successfully bred and competed in AKC conformation competitions with both smooth and long coat Chihuahuas, Rottweilers and French Bulldogs.
Our oldest Frenchy is almost 9 years old. Ruby taught us a LOT, being our first foray into the Frenchy World. When we first started, there was no DNA / Health, or color testing. We knew little about just what a challenge it is to have a house full of these crazy personalities!
Our sole focus, while not popular amongst other breeders, is to better the breed. We look first to structure and then look to incorporate color and coat type.
We do not care if we are not the “first” to have ABC color, nor do we not care if we are not the first to have big rope, pink, etc… whatever the latest fad is… our primary focus is on structure and the overall health and well-being of the dog. If a breeder cannot deliver the total package, then you should look elsewhere.
With the combined talents of Eddie’s 35+ years in technology and Robin’s 19 years of veterinary medicine experience, Adamscrest has an edge that we oft do not boast about.
